A camber zone runs down the middle beneath your feet for grip and pop, and from there the two outer edges rise gradually clear of the snow toward each contact point. Edges that sit off the surface are hard to hook, so the board turns in willingly and shrugs off a flat or crooked landing. SideKick adds extra rise right past the wide points of tip and tail, rounding them into hull-shaped ends that plane in fresh snow and flip quickly from one edge to the other.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOn the hill it leans park-forward: happiest on jumps and jibs, easy enough across the groomers, and least at home in deep snow, which sits at the bottom of Bataleon's terrain graph. The soft flex swaps top-end hold for a loose, playful feel, so anyone after a stiff charger is better served by a firmer deck like the Women's Stereo.
