Atomic Hawx Prime 120 S BOA GW — Army Green/Black
A 120-flex, 100mm medium-volume "S" boot, with a BOA dial on the lower shell and aluminium buckles on the cuff — a BOA-lower boot, not full BOA. It's the stiff end of the Prime BOA line, one step below the 130. Fully heat-moldable shell, Mimic Platinum liner.
Who it's for
- Medium-width feet that need a 100mm last
- Advanced-to-expert skiers who drive the front of the boot and want push-back
- Skiers with forefoot pressure from buckles who want an even wrap, and will mold it
Who it's NOT for
- Narrow, low-volume feet — look at the Hawx Ultra (98mm)
- Wide, high-volume feet — look at the Hawx Magna (102mm); BOA tightens, it doesn't add width
- Lighter or less aggressive skiers — the 110 or 100 is easier to bend (flex is relative to your weight)
- Anyone shopping by flex number alone — fit and last matter more; 120 isn't fixed brand to brand

For a medium-footed advanced-to-expert skier whose forefoot fights lower buckles, this is the Prime BOA worth trying. The BOA fine-tunes tension; it can't change shell width or rescue the wrong last. No walk mode — use GripWalk, MNC, or MN bindings. Get the shell checked and molded first.
