BLIZZARD Rustler 10

The Blizzard Rustler 10 is a directional all-mountain freeride ski, 102mm underfoot, built to smear and pop through soft, broken snow at moderate speed while still holding a cleaner groomer edge than a ski this wide should. It is the middle of Blizzard's three-width Rustler line — wider than the firm-snow Rustler 9, narrower than the powder-leaning Rustler 11.

The build is FluxForm over a TrueBlend Free woodcore. FluxForm is not a full sheet of Titanal: it is an H-shaped metal footprint — two Titanal bars that run down the edges and taper toward the tip and tail, plus a separate Titanal plate underfoot. The metal sits where you stand and steer, which is where grip and lateral stability come from, and pulling it out of the ends keeps the tips and tails light and easy to release. That is a step below the Anomaly 102's "2Ti" build, which stacks two Titanal layers — a full sheet plus a segmented one. The TrueBlend Free core zones its wood: denser beech underfoot for support, lighter poplar and paulownia toward the ends so swing weight drops. The profile is rocker/camber/rocker.

It is built for advanced-to-expert skiers with an active, dynamic style — people who play the mountain rather than bulldoze it. It is not a beginner ski, not a deep-powder specialist (102mm is slow to plane), and not a hard-ice charger; pushed to top speed the light tips can chatter. The Rustler 10 comes in six lengths, 162 to 192cm. It is sold flat, so a binding is a separate purchase; we mount it and help set the right length and size in-shop.
