BLIZZARD Sheeva 10

The Blizzard Sheeva 10 is a women's all-mountain freeride ski, 102mm underfoot, that carves firm snow and floats for its width — a metal-framed one-ski option that asks to be driven and won't jib. It's the middle of Blizzard's three-ski Sheeva line and the women's counterpart to the men's Rustler 10.

The frame is Blizzard's W.S.D. FluxForm: two titanal stringers run nearly the full length of the ski, one along each edge, tapering toward the tip and tail so the ends flex freely. That puts metal where it grips and leaves the tip and tail loose to start turns and absorb bad snow. Underfoot, where the men's Rustler 10 carries an extra titanal plate, the Sheeva runs a Women's Specific Design fiberglass plate instead — so it is not metal-free, and not a full titanal sheet, but it drops weight and softens the flex against the Rustler. Under that sits a TrueBlend Freeride woodcore of beech, poplar and paulownia, on a Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile. There is no carbon in this build.

It is a soft-leaning one-ski option for progressing-intermediate to expert women who drive the ski - not a beginner ski, and not the pick for a light, jib-happy or plush ultra-damp ride. The Sheeva 10 comes in five lengths from 156 to 180 cm. It's sold flat, so a binding is a separate purchase; we mount it and help you set the right length and size in-shop.
