The rated flex is Twin 5.5 on the brand's own scale, which means nothing outside its catalog. This is a resort deck for firm and mixed snow, not an all-conditions board, whatever the floral topsheet suggests.

The profile is where the ride comes from. Resort V1 hybrid camber carries past the bindings for drive, and the squared-off Flat Kick tips are the ollie engine — the same stiff platform that resists a long, drawn carve and asks for effort in a press. The carbon is woven into the glass rather than taped on top, which is how a board this light snaps as hard as it does. The Quantum Drive base is sintruded, not sintered: fast and durable, quick to reward a wax without punishing you for skipping one. The Blended Radial sidecut tightens from 8.0 m to 6.4 m on the shortest boards, and there is no Death Grip, so hard, icy snow is not its element.

The Birds rewards a confident resort rider who lives on her edges and treats every roller as a takeoff.
