关于产品

The Black Crows Corvus is a big-mountain freeride ski, 110mm underfoot, built to hold long arcs at speed and to pivot in steep, tight terrain. It is the ski Black Crows was founded on — the brand calls it the founder and the black stallion — and this fifth generation is a committed charger: camber underfoot, progressive rocker at both ends, straight sidecut lines, and a 25m radius across the five-length run.

The construction is semi-cap with ABS sidewalls all around, over a poplar-beech wood core with fiberglass and one titanal plate. Independent reviews describe how that build reads on snow: damp and planted rather than lively, composed at high speed in big open terrain, with enough rocker to free the tails and smear through couloirs. Running one sheet of metal instead of two also keeps the weight-feel below that of full-metal chargers.

It suits advanced and expert skiers hunting fast lines in big terrain — bowls, faces, couloirs — and directional skiers who want calm in variable and refrozen snow. It is not for intermediates or cautious skiers: reviewers say plainly that it wants speed and committed technique, and that it gives little back when you ski slow. It is not a playful, poppy ski, it is not a short-turn piste tool, and at 1750-2200g per ski it is not a touring ski — Black Crows' Draco Freebird covers this width for the skin track. Deep-snow specialists have the wider Anima (115mm) and Nocta (122mm) above it in the line, and skiers who want one everyday ski are better served by the Vena Cor (100mm). Our full review covers the ride in detail, the generation change, and how it compares inside and outside the line.

The Corvus comes in five lengths, 169.4 to 191.4cm, and is sold flat — a binding is a separate purchase; we mount it and help you choose the right length in-shop.

Tech Specs

Fiber & resin: 90° Carbon fibers stitched into the glass. Extra pop and response, without adding extra stiffness.
Profile: More camber!
Core: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
Base: The highest grade carbon-infused sintered base material available. Designed for speed.
Side cut: A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.
Shape: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.
