Dalbello Veloce Space 85 W Ski Boots 2027

The Dalbello Veloce Space 85 W is a women's all-mountain ski boot on a 101mm last, flex 85, riding a pre-mounted GripWalk sole. Dalbello classes the fit Medium, a 100–102 last. Dalbello rates it Intermediate, Advanced, and inside the women's Veloce Space line it carries the softest flex, sitting below the 95 W and the 105 W Dual.

Dalbello builds the 85 W with traditional overlap construction — a lower shell and an upper cuff, two parts, in bi-injected PU with a cuff Dalbello names DB Hyperlite. This is not the three-piece Cabrio design Dalbello is better known for. Closure is the Single Dial BOA® Fit System: one dial on the lower shell handling the forefoot and midfoot, micro-adjustable buckles on the cuff, and a 40mm power strap over the top. Dalbello's claim for the dial is a micro-adjustable, multi-directional fit that locks in the heel. Contour 5 molds extra space into the shell at the navicular, both ankles and the sixth-toe area and pre-shapes the liner's ankle areas — factory shaping, so it is the fit you buy rather than a fitting you book. The liner is Dalbello's women's-designated SPACE IF SPORT W. A walk mode partially frees the cuff from the shell for more natural walking, and the Quick Fit Panel runs the shell higher up the shin for easier step-in.

Check your bindings first. The sole is GripWalk to ISO 23223 — rockered and rubber-lugged, not the flat, hard alpine profile a plain alpine toe and heel were built to hold and release. Dalbello states these soles are not compatible with regular alpine bindings (ISO 9462). Use GripWalk-marked bindings, or ISO 13992 touring bindings.

Skip it if you ski plain alpine bindings and won't change them, if you want a touring boot, or if your foot sits clearly outside a medium.
