关于产品
The Lange RSJ 65 is a junior race-pedigree ski boot built around a 65-flex mono-injection shell — soft enough for a kid who's still building leg strength, stiff enough to transmit a committed edge-set when they start carving real turns. The shell runs in polyurethane with a lightweight Lyfran cuff, which keeps the overall weight down for smaller legs that don't need extra resistance to bend the boot. Four micro-adjustable aluminum buckles close the overlap shell from the toe up, letting you dial in fit incrementally as feet grow or as a young skier layers up between runs. The 30mm power strap adds a little extra retention at the top of the cuff without over-clamping a junior calf. Inside sits a Control Fit liner — a warm, plush foam construction shaped for narrow junior feet and smaller calf circumferences, and it wraps the foot well out of the box. Lange doesn't list this as a heat-moldable liner, and we won't promise molding we can't confirm; plan on it breaking in through skiing. If precise molding is something you're counting on, ask us first and we'll check before you buy. The replaceable soles are Junior GripWalk-compatible, so if you swap to a GripWalk sole kit (sold separately), you get better traction on pavement and in lodge hallways — useful when small kids are walking long distances in ski boots.
This boot belongs on a kid who's past the pure beginner stage — a developing junior skier in ski school or a young club racer who's been told they need a stiffer, more dedicated boot than a softie rental can offer. The 65 flex and 98mm junior last make that target very clear: it fits narrow-to-medium junior feet and will feel appropriately supportive for a skier roughly in the 6–12 age range. If the child has a wider or meatier foot, this last will squeeze; come in and we'll put them in something with more volume. If they're still on their first or second season and not yet carving, the boot may be more than they need right now — a softer, more walkable junior boot would serve them better and keep the experience fun. This boot does not have a dedicated walk or hike mode — GripWalk is sole compatibility only, not a cuff that hinges, so it's an on-slope tool, full stop. Fit matters enormously with juniors because feet are still growing and the wrong last width creates real problems before the day is out — bring the kid in, let us measure the foot, and we'll make sure the flex and shell volume are right before they put a centimeter of boot between them and the snow.
