The structure table gives it one mark, FLF: the A7178 is a laminate material, with no zone-specific stiffness claimed for it. Dynamic Tail is on the catalog's technology line here, and not on the U-PE's. The base carries the Center Wave grind, one of OGASAKA's four base finishes. Weight comes to 1,023 g\/m, per meter of one ski — the heaviest UNITY built. If you want a single ski for groomed runs and unpacked snow, the U-PE is the wider ski and the better tool for that, which is OGASAKA's own argument for the 81 mm waist.
