Stockli Laser WRT Pro Marco Odermatt Edition with WRT 12 GW Bindings

Stöckli's Marco Odermatt Edition of the Laser WRT Pro is a 67 mm race-carver — the flagship WRT Pro, developed with Marco Odermatt and finished in its own topsheet design. Its 119-67-101 mm sidecut holds across every length, so the size you pick sets the turn radius, from 12.3 m at 158 cm up to 16.0 m at 178 cm. On paper it is the WRT Pro: Stöckli lists the same geometry and the same technology for both, and calls out no build difference between them.

Underfoot sits Stöckli's Race Core, a beech-and-poplar wood core run heavier on beech for stability, capped with a Titec Pro Titanal surface — Stöckli lists no sheet count or full layup. Carbon fibers set around the binding zone, its Carbon Power Turn, load through the arc and release at the exit for a burst of acceleration, while black racing sidewalls, wide solid metal edges and a graphite-rich Race Base handle power transfer and glide. The factory tune is 1.0° base, 2.0° side; Stöckli publishes no camber or rocker figure, and no weight for the Laser line.

This is an expert ski. Independent testers rate the standard WRT Pro Expert, though Stöckli assigns no level, and it rewards a skier who stays forward and keeps working the ski — forgiveness was its weakest test score, so anyone still developing should skip it. At 67 mm it floats poorly and is scored for groomers only, so off-piste and powder skiers want a wider tool; for short, snappy slalom turns the Laser SL specializes there. And because the standard Laser WRT Pro gives you the identical published ski for less, buy this edition for the Odermatt collaboration design, not for a performance gain Stöckli does not claim.
