Toko Basic Hot Wax Kit 120
If you want to start hot waxing at home and don't already own anything, this is a reasonable place to start. You get three blocks of Toko's Base Performance wax — Yellow for warmer snow (32°F to 21°F / 0°C to -6°C), Red for mid-range (25°F to 10°F / -4°C to -12°C), and Blue for cold (14°F to -22°F / -10°C to -30°C) — plus a nylon brush and a 3mm plexiscraper, all in a kit bag. The waxes are fluorine-free and iron-in, which means they take a few minutes to apply, but they'll actually sink into the base and last longer than a rub-on.
What it doesn't include is a waxing iron. If you don't already have one, you'll need to add that separately before any of this is useful. It's also not aimed at racers — Base Performance is a solid recreational wax, not a competition formula. Works on both skis and snowboards.
