About the Product
The Arcade 88 is the wider, more stable step up in Rossignol's Arcade carving line, and it's the one with a full-length sheet of Titanal — a continuous metal layer running the length of the ski, not just a beam underfoot. That metal is what makes it planted and quiet at speed: it holds an edge through firm snow and powers out of a carve, at the cost of more weight than the lighter Arcade 84. At 88mm with tip-and-tail rocker, it still handles the soft and variable snow off the groomer.
It suits an advanced skier who carves hard and wants stability at speed across the whole front side of the mountain — it replaces the old Experience line for that rider. If you want something light and quick to flick around, the metal makes this the more demanding ski (look at the Arcade 84); if you mostly ski deep powder, go wider. Not a beginner ski.
