The Bataleon Fun.Kink is an all-mountain freestyle snowboard with a soft 4/10 flex, built around Bataleon's Triple Base Technology — 3BT — so it resists catching an edge. Between your feet the base holds a positive camber for pop and grip; toward the widest points of the nose and tail the sidebase is raised up off the snow. Those raised edges are the ones that normally hook you when you ride flat, so lifting them is why the Fun.Kink forgives a caught edge. SideKick adds a little more lift right at the tips for smoother turn initiation and a touch of float. This is not rocker and not flat — it is cambered down the middle with the edges of the tips eased away from the snow.

Bataleon calls the shape a Directional Twin, but the 26/27 outline is symmetric, the inserts sit centered, and the nose and tail are lifted by an equal amount. The directional character is a gentle forward lean in how it rides, not a tapered powder shape or a moved-back stance, so you can ride and land switch without relearning your footing. Underneath is a Core Core wood core, a forgiving Bi-Ax glass layup, D.S.T.
