Bataleon Men's Stereo 2026/2027

The Bataleon Men's Stereo is a true-twin, all-mountain freestyle snowboard made for newer riders working from beginner into intermediate who want a single deck for the park and the rest of the hill. Bataleon rates the flex a soft 4/10 and pitches it as easy to progress on, and that holds up: this is a deck you can bend, press and learn on. The twin outline is symmetrical end to end and the stance sits dead center, so switch riding and switch landings feel the same either way.

The reason it feels forgiving is Bataleon's 3BT base shape. Under your feet the base holds a positive camber zone for pop and edge hold, and toward the tip and tail the outer edges are floated up off the snow, with SideKick 2.0 raising them a little more just past the widest points. Because those outer edges sit above the snow, they are slow to catch: the board turns in easily and a flat or sideways landing is much less likely to grab an edge. There is still enough camber and sidecut to lay a clean carve on a groomer.

On terrain the Men's Stereo leans park-first, with all-mountain cruising close behind and powder at the bottom - Bataleon's own terrain graph ranks it lowest there. A dead-center twin with camber does not have much surface holding it up once the snow gets deep, so this is not the board for a powder day. It is also not a straight-line speed machine: the soft flex trades high-speed hold for an easy, playful ride. Riders who want a stiffer, damper, hard-charging board should look at the Stereo Team, and anyone chasing a directional freeride or carving deck should look elsewhere.

The Men's Stereo comes in 150, 152, 154, 156 and 158, plus wide sizes 153W, 156W and 159W for riders whose boots overhang a standard waist. Size the wide to your boot rather than your body weight. It comes as a bare deck; we fit and size bindings with you in the shop.
