Under the topsheet it's a Super Fly II 700G core (lighter, stronger wood) with Dualzone EGD — grain angled along the heel and toe edges to sharpen edge response right where you stand. Frostbite Edges extend the steel slightly underfoot, beneath each binding, to bite into icy hardpack that would wash out a softer board. The Channel mounting system lets you fine-tune stance width and angle in ways a four-hole plate can't, and Burton's Infinite Ride pre-flex means it rides broken-in from day one and holds that feel across seasons.

This is a board for intermediate-to-expert riders who want one deck that genuinely works across the whole mountain — groomed morning laps, an afternoon in the park, the occasional crud traverse — without giving anything away. The 6/10 flex sits in medium-stiff territory: enough backbone to hold a carve and handle speed, but not so much that a confident intermediate fights it. If you're a beginner or a low-intermediate who spends most days making wide turns on blues, the camber and stiffness will work against you and you'll have a frustrating time — look at the softer Burton Custom Flying V or the Burton Instigator instead. If your focus is the park and buttering, the Burton Process is the better call: same medium flex, but a true twin shape and a more playful, freestyle feel that's easier to spin and press. But if you ride a mix, want a board that lasts, and care about grip on hardpack, the Custom Camber is the honest choice.
