The Step On Genesis Re:Flex is Burton's mid-to-upper entry in the Step On lineup, built around a medium flex (6/10) that gives you real edge-to-edge response without punishing you on longer days. The headline feature is the Kickback Hammock highback — a spring-loaded internal suspension that cradles your heel between the molded hammock and the highback frame. What that means on snow: the highback stays medium-stiff when you're driving turns or hitting features with intent, but backs off the chatter and vibration when the terrain gets rowdy or variable. Underfoot, the Re:Flex FullBED cushioning softens impact through the baseplate while the Re:Flex disc — compatible with 2x4, 4x4, and Channel mounting — lets the board flex closer to its natural character instead of getting stiffened up by a rigid plate. Entry is Burton Step On: clip in with Toe Hook 2.0 at the toe, heel clips lock automatically, and you're riding. Exit is a quick-release lever at the heel. No straps, no fumbling with cold fingers.

That said, there's a hard requirement you need to know before buying: the Step On system only works with Burton Step On boots. If you don't already own Step On boots, you're buying a binding and a boot simultaneously, and the two have to be the same system — Burton Step On boots for Burton Step On bindings, full stop. They won't work with standard strap boots, and they won't work with Nitro's Step-On boots either; the systems are not cross-compatible.
