Burton Women's Lexa X Re:Flex Snowboard Bindings 2026

The Lexa X Re:Flex is Burton's step up from their entry-level Lexa — same women's-tuned platform, but with a dual-component highback that adds meaningful snap and heel-hold over the single-piece construction on the base model. That highback includes a Heel Hammock, which keeps your heel seated against the binding during hard heel-side turns instead of floating away from it, and the result is cleaner edge pressure with less energy wasted. The ankle strap is Burton's Hammockstrap 2.0, a molded strap with a stiff spine and a softer body that wraps the boot for support without feeling like it's just clamping down. The toe strap is the Supergrip Capstrap 2.0 — a cap strap that wraps over the top of the boot and pulls it back into the heelcup, which locks the boot in better than an over-the-foot strap. Double Take Buckles mean you need fewer ratchet cranks to get tight. Underfoot, the Re:Flex baseplate uses a cored design with a Living Hinge disc that lets the board bend more naturally than a rigid-disc setup — there's real flex-through happening, not just a binding sitting on top of the board. B3 Gel cushioning adds vibration damping that holds up in cold temperatures. Mounting is through Burton's Re:Flex system, which is compatible with standard 4x4 and 2x4 hole patterns and the Burton Channel — it is NOT an EST-only binding, so it works on any board, not just Burton's.

This binding is built for intermediate to advanced women riders who want more response than an all-mountain recreational binding provides but aren't chasing a full-stiff park-specific setup. If you're riding mostly green and blue runs and still building confidence, the base Lexa Re:Flex (softer flex, lighter hold) will be more comfortable and less punishing — the Lexa X's stiffer chassis is meant for someone already leaning on their edges. On the other end, if you're an experienced rider who wants a stiffer, more direct binding for dedicated freeride or aggressive carving, look at the Burton Escapade X or the Scribe — the Lexa X sits below those and won't feel locked-in enough for someone who needs maximum highback leverage. These are traditional 2-strap bindings — they work with any standard snowboard boot, no compatibility issues to worry about. They are not Step On bindings and require no special footwear.
