About the Product

The Outerspace Living sits squarely in Capita's all-mountain resort lineup — a medium-flex (5/10) directional twin built around the Resort V3 hybrid camber profile. That profile means positive camber runs through the insert pack underfoot, giving you real edge engagement and pop when you press into a carve or launch off a kicker, while the elevated contact points and relaxed tip-and-tail arcs keep the board from catching when conditions turn uneven. The 12.7mm (0.5") setback adds a touch of directional float without giving up the switch riding that the twin shape is built for, so spinning out of a side hit or riding away fakie still feels natural. Underneath, the Multizone Dual Core pairs poplar for lightweight pop with beech for power and durability where you need it, and four 30mm carbon boosters add snap without making the board feel rigid between your feet. The result is a ride that's lively and responsive on groomers, manageable in chopped-up afternoon snow, and honest enough on a small jump line — not a specialist anywhere, but genuinely capable across the whole resort.

This board is aimed squarely at the intermediate rider who wants one quiver board that handles a full day on the mountain — morning groomers, a few park laps, and whatever off-piste they run into. It's patient enough to build skills on and rewarding enough that it won't feel like a beginner board once you've leveled up. That said, if you're a dedicated park rider logging daily jump and rail sessions, the Outerspace Living is not the right call — the DOA is Capita's purpose-built true-twin freestyle board and will serve you far better there. Likewise, if you're chasing steep backcountry lines and need serious float and setback, look at the Navigator instead, with its longer 0.8" setback and freeride-tuned shape. The Outerspace Living is a resort all-rounder, and it's an honest one — but it works best when you're riding the whole mountain, not optimizing for one corner of it.
