Dalbello Veloce Space 100 Ski Boots 2027

The Dalbello Veloce Space 100 is a 101 mm Medium-width alpine boot at a 100 flex, built as a traditional two-part overlap shell in PU with a DB Hyperlite cuff. Dalbello tags it Intermediate to Advanced and files it as an all-mountain resort boot.

Closure is what places this model in the line. A Single Dial BOA® Fit System closes the lower shell over the forefoot and instep — Dalbello’s claim for the dial is fine-increment tension pulled from more than one direction, with the heel held down — while micro-adjustable buckles close the cuff and the boot tops out in a 40 mm power strap. The Dual models run a second dial where this one runs a single dial. Inside sits the SPACE IF SPORT liner, and Contour 5 builds extra space into the shell at the navicular, both ankles and the sixth-toe area at the factory. Quick Fit Panel runs the shell panels higher up the shin so it can be spread by hand for step-in on cold mornings.

The sole decides who can buy it. GripWalk soles come premounted, certified to ISO 23223 — a curved, rubber-treaded walking sole, not the flat hard plane of a conventional alpine sole, so the shapes a binding has to hold and release are not what an ISO 9462-only unit was certified against. Dalbello states flatly that this sole is not compatible with a regular alpine binding built to ISO norm 9462. What it takes instead: a binding marked GripWalk, or a touring model certified to ISO 13992. Have a certified technician confirm that pairing and adjust the binding before you ski it.

This suits a medium-volume skier who walks a lot in ski boots, helped by a Walk Mode that Dalbello says partially frees the cuff. Skiers wanting more shell stiffness step up inside the line, and a woman shopping a women’s-specific fit should look at the W models instead.
