The Dalbello Veloce Space 110 Dual is a resort all-mountain ski boot on a roomy 101 mm last, closed by two BOA dials and sold on a premounted GripWalk sole.

Start with the shape. Dalbello specs this shell at 101 mm — an "adaptive 101 mm fit", wide for the category and aimed at a fuller foot, not a performance-narrow one. The brand never says which size that figure was measured on, so it is a class, not a per-size promise. Contour 5 molds extra room into the shell: around the navicular, at both ankle bones, and out where the sixth toe sits — built in at the factory, not by a fitter.

Closure is Dalbello's own Dual Dial BOA Fit System: one dial high on the shell, one low, each turned on its own, alongside micro-adjustable buckles and a 40 mm power strap. Which zone each dial pulls on is unpublished. Shell and cuff are both PU, bi-injected, in a two-part overlap build; the liner is the SPACE IF; and the Customizable Boot Board has depth-marked holes a fitter grinds to.

Then the part that decides whether you can buy it. The premounted GripWalk sole is rockered rubber to ISO 23223, taller at toe and heel than the flat sole profile a conventional binding is machined to hold. Dalbello rules that pairing out on the product page: a regular alpine binding to ISO 9462 is not an option. What it needs is a binding built to hold a GripWalk sole — either one carrying the GripWalk mark, or a touring model certified to ISO 13992. Get your bindings checked by a certified technician before anything is mounted.

So: a broad, higher-volume foot on skis whose bindings take a GripWalk sole. Not a narrow, low-volume foot — no amount of dial tension shrinks a shell — and not an uphill boot: Dalbello publishes no tech/pin inserts, and its own account of the walk mode is that it "partially frees" the cuff.
