Jones Mind Expander 2.0 Snowboard 2026/2027

The Mind Expander 2.0 is Jones's unisex powder deck, rebuilt for 26/27 with a new outline, a new camber profile and a new base contour. Anything written about earlier Mind Expanders describes different hardware. Jones's bars read Powder 10, Freestyle 5, All-Mountain 7, on a friendly 3/5 flex.

Geometry does the work. Rocker lifts the tip, camber sits between your feet, and a medium taper narrows everything behind them. The base takes Jones's High grade of 3D Contour: rounded tip and tail edges that let you roll the board onto its edge rather than tip it over, and that float the nose by pushing snow out from under it. And the outline does something unique in the line: two sidecut radii per length, not one. Our 150 is printed 7.0/6.4m. Two numbers, one catalog clause about nimble control, and nothing published about how they sit along the edge.

The build sheet is short. Inside, the Master Core. Around it, biax glass carrying the Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer. A Premium topsheet on top, a Sintered 8000 base below: porous, quick, hungry for wax. No metal, no Koroyd, no basalt, no bamboo. And no Traction Tech grade is printed on this board, while the Stratos and Flagship both carry the serrated edge.

Buy it for trees, soft bowls and lines you invent as you go — float early, turn without a fight. It is not for park and switch riders. Look at a true twin, or at the TwinCraft. Riders after stiffness and top-end speed should look elsewhere, and so should anyone whose season is spent on scraped ice: with no serrated edge specced here, the Stratos is the tool for that hill.

PTO stocked the 146, 150 and 154 in Blue. No wide version exists in the run, so a US 11-plus boot needs a conversation first. Bindings are separate; Jones's catalog match is the Mercury FASE. Send a weight and a boot size; we will pick the length and set the mount, stance and angles.
