Jones Women's Stratos Snowboard 2026/2027

The Women's Stratos is Jones's hybrid all-mountain board: a directional freeride shape at a medium 3/5 flex, scored 10 for powder, 8 for all-mountain and 4 for freestyle. The men's version takes a 5 there, on the same core and glass.

Profile is Directional Camber/Rocker: rocker nose, camber underfoot, rocker tail, with Medium taper in the outline. A High 3D Contour Base shapes the tips where the edges meet snow. Jones states the payoff: less friction at the contact points, no catch crossing edge to edge, and a nose that lifts in soft snow. Rocker costs edge hold, which is why the steel gets High Traction Tech: serrations that hand the grip back.

Power Core, Biax fiberglass, a Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer, Premium Topsheet, Float Pack inserts. Biax glass runs its fibers on two axes, not three; the missing axis is the one that resists twist, so the deck goes on edge easily. The stringer and the Float Pack are named but never explained.

Sintered 8000 underneath: quick, and only while there is wax in it. It is also a Flip-Flop Base — Jones presses this model in two base colors to cut P-Tex waste and fills orders with either, so we cannot promise which color arrives.

PTO stocked five lengths in White, 140 through 152, from a catalog run that goes on to a 155. Waists step 23.3cm to 24.4cm and the radius opens 5.9m to 6.7m across them. A 149 weighs 2.6kg. No wide width exists in the run at any length, so a bigger boot risks overhang.

Built for a directional rider from intermediate up whose day starts in deep snow, and who would rather have a quick arc in the trees than a long one on an open face. It is the wrong board for the park and switch rider; the true-twin Women's Tweaker 2.0 exists for that. Nor is it the board for a hardpack-only rider chasing long carves; the full-camber Airheart 2.0 grips truer there. It ships flat. Jones names two factory bindings, the Aurora and the Mercury FASE; we stock the Aurora.
