The Nitro Rambler is the 2027 men's all-terrain strap binding Nitro calls its official workhorse, carrying a Response rating of 5 and a Comfort rating of 7 out of 10. Its whole personality is easy and dependable: enough binding to explore the entire trail map, not so much that a progressing rider has to fight it.

Cushioning comes from EVA Dampening — a lightweight shock-absorbing foam — which keeps the Rambler light and forgiving underfoot. The hold is a 3D OptiFrame ankle strap tuned for comfort and support with 3D contours, plus an Übergrip toe strap that seats either over the top of the boot or capped around the toe. A 3-degree canted footbed angles your feet toward a natural stance, and the Speedwheel 3.0 ratchets with a cable-reinforced connector strap keep entry quick; Nitro builds the connector strap cable-reinforced for no wear, no tear.

Like every strap binding, the Rambler is two-strap ratchet entry — not rear-entry or step-on. Sizing is by boot, not weight: Medium covers US 7.0 to 10.5 men's and Large covers US 11.0 to 14.0.
