About the Product
The POC Obex MIPS is an adult all-mountain helmet built for full resort days — piste, all-mountain, and freeride. It uses a hybrid shell construction: a PC outer shell with an ABS top section over an EPS liner. That combination keeps weight reasonable (460–550g depending on size) while giving you a shell that handles both everyday bumps and harder impacts. The MIPS Evolve system sits inside to manage rotational forces. EN 1077-B and ASTM F2040 certified.
The 360° dial adjustment spans the full circumference of your head, so you can dial in fit without swapping pads. Sliding vent covers let you open or close airflow on the fly, and goggle chimneys at the front pull warm air away from your lens to reduce fogging. No visor — pair it with your own goggles. If you want a helmet for backcountry travel or are looking at junior sizing, this isn't the right fit: the Obex MIPS is built for on-piste adults.
