About the Product

The Superpig is Ride's answer to a simple question: what happens when you take the wide, short, volume-shifted Warpig platform and replace the rocker with aggressive camber? The result is a directional board built around a Directional Extra Camber profile — positive camber throughout the body with rocker only in the nose — which means it loads and snaps out of turns with considerably more energy than its rocker-dominant sibling. At a 7/10 flex, this thing does not butter. What it does is hold an edge on hardpack with authority, thanks in part to the Cleave Edge steel (roughly 50% more steel than standard edges) and the Carbon Array 5 running five carbon stringers through the binding zone. The Carbon Slim Walls — a carbon-urethane composite along the sidewalls — damp chatter at speed without killing liveliness. The Sintered 4000 Race Base is among the fastest Ride puts in any board. The wide Pig body and Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut let you size down 6–10 cm from your normal length, keeping the volume and float while dramatically shortening the effective turning radius. That sizing-down is not optional — it is how the board is engineered to perform.

This board is for advanced to expert all-mountain riders who charge: carvers who want a short, wide platform that still has real camber pop and edge grip, and riders who want something that can drive through variable snow and hold its line at speed. If you're an intermediate looking to progress, or a rider who spends the bulk of your time in the park pressing and buttering, this is the wrong call — the stiff flex and camber profile will fight you rather than help you. Look at the Warpig instead for that floaty, forgiving, surfy feel at the same volume-shifted sizing concept, or the Tater if you want something closer to a medium-flex all-mountain twin. The Superpig is specifically for riders who know what they want and want to push it hard.

Tech Specs

Fiber & resin: 90° Carbon fibers stitched into the glass. Extra pop and response, without adding extra stiffness.
Profile: More camber!
Core: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
Base: The highest grade carbon-infused sintered base material available. Designed for speed.
Side cut: A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.
Shape: Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.
