Stockli Laser OREA SC Skis 2026/2027

The Stöckli Orea SC is a Swiss piste carver — 70 mm underfoot — that wraps the Laser SC's exact published geometry in the brand's premium Orea design line. Its 120-70-102 mm shape is identical in every length, and the radius grows with size: from 11.6 m at 152 cm to 16.0 m at 176 cm. That spread is the multiturn idea — one ski for short-to-medium arcs on groomed snow.

Underneath is Stöckli's hardpack package: a Race Core weighted to beech in a sandwich chassis, an aluminum layer, phenol Racing Sidewalls Black for edge power, Full Edge Contact that puts more edge into the snow as you lean the ski over, and wide Solid Metal Edges on a Racing-Graphite base. The factory grind is the same 1.0° base and 2.0° side race tune the Laser SC ships with. Stöckli lists full camber and no rocker, and publishes neither a metal sheet count nor a weight.

Read that as a groomer specialist. There is no float here for soft snow or off-trail, and the race tune rewards a skier who actually sets an edge — call it sporty intermediate up through expert. Against the Laser SC, what the Orea SC changes is the dress: an embossed topsheet, a set-in badge and a black-trimmed binding. Because the geometry, construction list and tune all match, the Orea trim is a premium you pay for the look, not for a different ski on paper.

Elsewhere in the range, the Orea AX (80 mm) steps off the piste, and the Laser SL (66 mm) is the tighter short-turn tool; if the finish leaves you cold, the Laser SC has the same numbers for less money.
