The Rossignol Vizion 4B 100 HV GW is a men's piste boot built around one clear idea: a traditional four-buckle overlap shell sized for genuinely wide, high-volume feet, with a 102 mm last that gives room where most boots squeeze. The flex is a true 100 — firm enough to transmit your input cleanly into a carve, soft enough that you're not fighting the boot on blue runs or after a long day. Closure is four micro-adjustable aluminum buckles plus a 40 mm power strap, so you can dial each zone independently and lock the cuff exactly where you need it. The liner is Rossignol's True Form Full Custom — pre-shaped to reduce break-in time and moldable at the shop for a more precise fit around your particular foot. Forefoot Thinsulate stretch insulation keeps circulation in the toes without adding bulk. The party trick here is the Step-In entry system: a spine-link mechanism lets the cuff rock back so you can step in and out without flipping buckles open, then the lower double-buckle snaps the shell back into ski position. GripWalk soles with a rockered rubber toe handle the walk from the car to the gondola. There is no dedicated walk/hike mode — this boot is tuned for skiing, not trail access.

This boot fits intermediate to solid advanced skiers who know their feet run wide or high-volume and have been squeezed out of narrower shells. The 102 mm last is genuinely roomier than the industry's standard MV shell, and if you've been fighting pressure across the forefoot or the little toe in other boots, this is a logical place to start. That said, wide does not mean loose — if your foot is average-width, this shell will leave slop that undermines precision no matter how tight you crank the buckles; in that case the Vizion 4B Pro MV at the same flex index is the right call. Flex 100 suits an intermediate-advanced skier who pushes reasonably hard but doesn't need the stiffness of a 110–120 boot; if you're skiing hard bumps, steeps, or aggressive variable terrain every day, you'll likely want more resistance underfoot. Come in for a proper fitting — flex, last width, and foot volume all have to match together, and the only way to know is to put the boot on your foot.
