A solid entry-level kids' ski helmet that covers the basics without overcomplicating things. The Whoopee IMPACTS uses a bonded construction — an ABS outer shell and EPP inner foam molded separately and joined together — which sits between a true in-mold and a classic hardshell in terms of weight and durability. The EPP (expanded polypropylene) liner is the key feature here: unlike standard EPS foam, EPP can absorb repeated low-level impacts without degrading as quickly, making it a reasonable choice for kids who tend to drop their helmets more than adults. The Dial R-Fit adjustment at the back dials in the fit without tools, which matters because a helmet that moves around on a kid's head isn't doing its job. Fixed vents with internal airflow channels keep air moving without cold spots. No visor — that's the separate Visor Impacts model.
