The Smith Descend Mips is a light all-mountain ski helmet for the skier who would rather set fit and airflow by hand than live with whatever the shell hands them. A micro-adjustable dial tightens the cradle one-handed, so you can snug it over a thin beanie on a cold chair and back it off as the day warms, and a Regulator slider works the 16 vents on the move.
Protection comes from zonal Koroyd through the main impact areas and a Mips layer that is designed to reduce the rotational forces of an angled impact; the helmet is certified to ASTM F2040 and CE EN 1077:2007 Class B. The Snapfit SL2 ear pads lift out for spring laps and take an audio chip, and the shell is Aleck compatible. It comes in sizes S through XL, in a standard shape and a Round Contour Fit for rounder heads, with most colorways carrying Mips.
A helmet only does its job when it fits, so come in and we will measure you, set the dial snug and level, and pair it with your Smith goggle so the AirEvac venting lines up and the lens stays clear.
