关于产品
The HEAD Raptor 60 Junior is a race-derived alpine boot built specifically for young skiers who are moving past their first few seasons and starting to push their technique on groomed trails and in gates. It draws its architecture from HEAD's World Cup Raptor lineage — a short-leg (SL) polyurethane shell, a narrow 96mm JR Racing last, and Junior Racing Flex Tuning that keeps the flex index at 60 across most sizes (dropping toward 50 in the smallest shells). That flex is firm enough to give a developing skier real feedback and edge engagement, but not so aggressive that a lighter, growing body can't drive through it. Four micro-adjustable plastic buckles and a 30mm velcro power strap close the shell in a specific order — velcro first to anchor the tongue, then the lower two buckles to lock the heel pocket, then the upper two to cinch the cuff — and that sequence matters for getting the narrow last to actually wrap correctly around a slender junior foot. The Junior Team liner includes a self-shaping footbed that conforms over time with regular skiing; it is not a heat-moldable foam and does not require an oven session, which keeps fitting simple at this level.
This boot is built for the kid who is skiing parallel confidently, starting to explore steeper terrain, and ready to stop fighting the gear. The 96mm last is genuinely narrow — if your child has a wide or fleshy forefoot, this shell will cause pressure problems regardless of buckle adjustment, and we will tell you that in person before you leave with it. Kids with average-to-narrow feet in the developing-racer stage, roughly ages 8–14 depending on foot size, are the right match. A child just learning to ski, or one still in a snowplow, should be in something softer and more forgiving — the Raptor 40 handles that role. A junior who is fully committed to racing programs and skiing aggressively multiple days a week may outgrow this flex quickly and should look at the Raptor 65 or WCR 70. Sole standard is ISO 5355 alpine norm (junior GR sizing for smaller mondopoints, adult norm from size 22.0 up), with GripWalk optional as an add-on. Come in with your kid — boot fitting for growing feet is a moving target, and getting the shell size right matters more than the model number.
