Jones Men's Aviator 2.0 Snowboard 2026/2027

The Jones Men's Aviator 2.0 snowboard is a directional twin built on full camber, with a mid-stiff 4/5 flex. Jones aims it at expert riders who carve hard and put the board in the air.

The camber arc covers the whole running length, nose to tail, with no rocker section anywhere in it, and Jones marks the height High. That is where the bite and the rebound come from. The outline sits close to symmetric, so switch takeoffs and landings are designed in rather than tolerated. Jones's terrain bars: a full 10 for all-mountain, a 9 for freestyle, a 7 for powder.

Inside is a Boost Core under triaxial glass, plus two parts Jones will name but not explain: a Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer and a Koroyd insert. No mechanism is published for either, so read them as build features and nothing more. The rest is documented. A Medium 3D Contour Base spoons the nose and tail contact zones, taking some catch out of a fully cambered deck, and Medium Traction Tech mills serrations into the steel for grip on firm snow. The base is Sintered 8000: fast, and worth waxing. A 156 weighs 2.9kg.

It suits an advanced or expert rider who wants one deck for hard snow, jumps and switch, and who values edge power over surfy float. It is the wrong board for a first season on snow (full camber hooks up quickly, and 4/5 expects to be driven), for a powder specialist (nothing in this shape lifts the tip for you — that is the Flagship's job), and for slow presses and butters.

We stocked it in White: 150, 154, 156, 158 and 160, plus 153W, 157W and 159W. Waist runs 245mm at 150 to 255mm at 160, and the wides add 8–10mm; sidecut opens from 7.3m to 7.9m with length. Bindings are not included; Jones's pairing is the Mercury FASE or the Orion. The W is a boot question, not a weight one, so bring the boots you ride and we will settle length, width and stance.
