POC Obex Wide Fit MIPS Ski Helmet

The POC Obex Wide Fit MIPS is the same all-mountain daily-driver as the standard Obex, built specifically for heads that run broader and rounder — the wider internal shape gives you a secure fit without pressure points at the temples or crown. The hybrid shell pairs a PC outer with an ABS top and an EPS liner, keeping weight reasonable while the 360° circumferential dial gets you dialed in quickly without swapping pads. Sliding vent covers handle airflow on the fly, and the goggle chimneys at the brow duct warm air out before it fogs your lens. Detachable ear pads let you tune warmth to the day. Rotational impact protection is handled by MIPS Evolve. Certified EN 1077 B and ASTM F2040.

Who it's for: adult skiers or snowboarders with wider or rounder head shapes who want a straightforward all-mountain lid with solid ventilation and proven rotational protection — no frills, no visor. Who should skip it: if your head fits standard helmet shapes comfortably, the regular Obex MIPS is the same helmet without the wide-fit last; and if you need a touring-specific or backcountry-ready lid, look at the Obex BC MIPS instead.
