Rome Men's Viper 2026/2027

The Rome Men's Viper is a directional-twin all-mountain snowboard, new for 26/27 and the everyday anchor of Rome's new Viper family. Its Fusion Camber profile keeps camber between the feet for pop and grip, then rockers the nose and tail so turns start easily and stay forgiving. On Rome's own terrain map the board rates highest for all-mountain use, ahead of park and powder - a deck for lapping groomers, ducking through trees and popping side hits rather than a one-trick specialist.

Flex is a medium 6/10 on Rome's Playful-to-Precise scale, soft enough to butter and press yet backed by Carbon HotRods - carbon rods milled into the core that hand energy back without stiffening the ride. A Directional Diamond 3D nose helps the board find the start of a turn, while a Directional Double Kick tail keeps enough snap for freestyle. Underneath, a sintered Sinterstrong base runs quick but asks for regular waxing to stay that way.

The line runs five lengths, 154 through 162W. The 160W and 162W are true wide builds: their waists open up to 266.1 mm and 267.2 mm, against 255 mm on the 158, so a bigger-footed rider can size into one and keep toes and heels off the snow. This is not the board for someone who wants a symmetric park twin for switch riding, or a dedicated float shape for deep powder. Sold as a bare deck, the Viper needs bindings - we mount them and help you settle length and width in the shop.
