The Rome Stale Fish is Ståle Sandbech's directional all-mountain snowboard, measuring 263.7 to 270.3 mm at the waist across five lengths. It is built to charge — to float a deep day and hold a fast groomer — not to drift and press. A Free-The-Ride Camber profile lifts the tip into rocker, stays flat beneath the front foot, and runs camber back through the tail. The board also carries a 1.5 cm setback and a tapered tail, so it points downhill and keeps its shovel up.

Rome loads the powder tech into the nose. A Directional Diamond 3D base contour there lifts the tip in deep snow, and Directional Flax stringers add stability and drive up front. A Carbon HotRod rod runs the core for snap, while the Bi-Radial sidecut uses a tight radius near the tip and a wide one back at the tail to make turns easy to start and steady to hold. Under all of it sits a fast, low-maintenance SinterStrong sintered base.
