The S/PRO DELTA BOA 100 GW sits in the middle of Salomon's all-mountain S/PRO line — a flex-100 boot built on a 102mm last, which puts it squarely in high-volume territory. That wider forefoot and higher instep give skiers with meaty feet room to breathe without sacrificing heel hold, because the lower shell uses a single BOA dial to cinch the forefoot with micro-precise, even tension all the way around — no pressure points, no localized hotspots from a single buckle cam. The upper cuff then closes with two aluminum buckles, letting you tune forward lean and calf pressure independently. The My Custom Fit 3D Perf liner is heat-moldable off the shelf, and the shell itself is built with Custom Shell HD technology — meaning a bootfitter can spot-punch or heat-mold problem areas in minutes without wrecking the shell's integrity. There is no mechanical walk/hike mode toggle, but the pre-mounted GripWalk ISO soles (ISO 23223) give you enough traction and rocker underfoot to move comfortably between lodge and lift without hobbling. On snow, the 100-flex Power Spine construction delivers a responsive, predictable rebound — not harsh, but not noodle-soft either.

This boot makes sense for an intermediate-to-advanced skier — someone who's comfortable on blues, working into blacks, maybe tackling groomed steeps or occasional off-piste — who also has a wide or high-volume foot that has historically been pinched by standard 98mm or narrower lasts. If your foot is narrow or low-volume, the Delta BOA will feel sloppy no matter how tight you dial the BOA, and you'll lose the edge response you paid for — the S/PRO Alpha BOA or S/PRO 100 on a 98mm last is a better match. Conversely, if you're an expert or aggressive charger generating serious force, this flex-100 shell will start to wash out at speed; step up to the 110 or 120 in the same line. The calf adjuster handles wide and narrow legs well, but if you have an unusually high calf, come in and try it before you buy — that's a fit problem no BOA dial can solve.
