Salomon S/Pro Supra Dual BOA 130

The S/PRO SUPRA DUAL BOA 130 is Salomon's first dual-dial BOA alpine boot, built on their 100mm Supra last — a medium-volume shell that fits a broad range of foot shapes and can be heat-molded via Custom Shell HD to push closer to 106mm for wider feet. The 130 flex is legitimately stiff: it demands a strong, forward-driving skier to work properly, and in return it delivers immediate, damp edge response with very little wasted movement between your leg and the ski. Instead of two upper buckles, a dedicated cuff BOA dial wraps the lower leg with cable tension that runs evenly around the shaft — no pressure point, no gap — while the lower dial manages the forefoot and instep independently. The My Exowrap 4D Race liner heat-molds alongside the shell, so the boot can be custom-fit as a complete system rather than two separate parts. GripWalk soles come standard, which helps on hard lodge floors and parking lots, though this is a downhill-only boot: there is no walk or hike mode.

This boot makes sense for expert men's skiers who spend their days on groomed terrain and harder snow, ski with a strong, deliberate stance, and have a medium-width foot in the 99–101mm range. If your foot is genuinely low-volume or narrow, the single-BOA S/Pro Supra BOA 130 — with its slightly different fit geometry — may seal better around the heel before heat-molding. If 130 flex is more than your legs can consistently drive, the SUPRA DUAL BOA 120 is the direct step-down in this same platform and closure system, and it will reward an advanced skier without punishing them for a slightly softer technique. Wide or high-volume feet that don't respond to the Custom Shell HD process belong in a different shell entirely — come in for a fitting, because forcing a 100mm last onto a 104mm foot leads to pain and lost control, not performance. Flex and last width have to match the foot and the skier, and that is the only way this boot does what it promises.
