Swix F4 Glide Wax Liquid 250ml
The F4 is Swix's go-to liquid glide wax for alpine skis and snowboards. It's fluoro-free, universal across snow conditions, and doesn't require an iron — you apply a thin layer with a felt cork or a piece of Fiberlene, let it sit for about five minutes, then buff it out with Fiberlene or a nylon brush. That's the whole process. The 250ml bottle has a wide opening so you're not fighting the applicator on a cold morning. One other use worth knowing: a coat over your steel edges before summer storage slows down rust.
This is a good fit for recreational skiers and riders who want to keep their bases moving without setting up a full waxing bench. It won't replace a hot-wax job for race day or aggressive hard-snow conditions, and if you're already comfortable with iron-in wax, the F4 liquid probably doesn't add much to your kit. But for a quick refresh between hot-wax sessions, or as your only wax if you're not going deep on tuning, it does the job cleanly and without fuss.
