Atomic Hawx Prime 100 BOA GW — Black/Red

A medium-volume all-mountain alpine boot on Atomic's 100mm last, the most common foot shape. The 100 flex is the easy end of the Prime line: supportive without fighting you all day. The change on this version is the closure — a BOA H+i1 dial on the lower shell wraps the forefoot evenly instead of clamping at two buckle points.

Who it's for

• Average-width feet (100mm last), average-to-slightly-tall instep
• Intermediate to advanced skiers who ride the whole mountain at a real, non-race pace
• Anyone who gets forefoot pressure or hot spots from lower buckles
• Skiers planning to heat-mold the shell and liner — this boot is built to be customized

Who it's not for

• Narrow / low-volume feet — look at the Hawx Ultra (98mm)
• Wide / high-volume feet — look at the Hawx Magna (102mm). BOA tightens, it doesn't add width
• Heavier or hard-charging skiers — step up to the 110 or 130
• Shoppers picking by flex number alone — fit and last matter more

One thing to be clear on

This is a BOA-lower plus two-aluminium-cuff-buckle boot — not full BOA, not a three-buckle boot. The GripWalk soles (ISO 23223) need GripWalk, MNC, or MN bindings, and there's no walk mode. It's a resort boot.

PTO bottom line

The easiest-flexing boot in a respected all-mountain line, and the BOA lower is worth trying if buckles have bothered your forefoot. Get a shell fit and a mold before you commit — on boots, the fit decides everything.
