About the Product

The Good Company is Burton's bread-and-butter freestyle twin — a traditional full-camber board with a true twin shape and a centered stance that treats regular and switch riding as equals. Burton classifies the flex as soft (about a 4 out of 10), and that's the honest number — you'll see some retailers bump it up to a 5 or "medium," but on snow it rides soft, which keeps butters and presses accessible without turning the board into a wet noodle. That softness works hand-in-hand with the full camber underfoot: you get genuine edge engagement and a lively, poppy rebound off lips and kickers, not the squishy dead-cat bounce you'd get from a rockered park board. The Super Fly II 800G dual-species wood core keeps weight honest, while the Dualzone EGD core lays the wood grain along the toe and heel edges for added durability and response right where the board takes the most abuse. Triax fiberglass keeps the flex consistent and the feel lively, and the sintered base holds wax and holds speed. The Channel mounting system lets you dial your stance millimeter by millimeter, which matters more on a centered twin than people give it credit for.

This board is aimed at intermediate riders who spend most of their time in the park — hitting small-to-medium features, working on switch tricks, and maybe lapping a few groomers in between park runs. If you're a beginner looking for something forgiving, skip it: traditional camber rewards edge control you may not have yet, and a rockered option will serve your early turns better. If you're an advanced or expert rider charging groomers at speed, pushing big jumps, or chasing powder, this board will feel underpowered — the soft flex gets washy at speed, and a centered twin gives you nothing off-piste. For all-mountain range and a stiffer, faster ride, look at the Burton Custom Camber, which pairs a directional shape with twin flex and full camber. If you want to stay on a true-twin park board but with a bit more snap and carve, the Burton Blossom is a slightly stiffer step in that direction — just know it's still a freestyle deck, not a powder or charging board.
