About the Product
The Smith Cache Mips is a hard-shell all-mountain ski and snowboard helmet built around tough ABS construction, Mips rotational protection, and a micro-adjustable dial fit — Smith’s durable value lid for skiers who want a full-featured helmet without a lot of fuss.
The ABS shell is built to take impacts and hold up to daily abuse. Airflow comes from eleven ports — six fixed and five you can open or close — and the AirEvac system routes warm air away from a Smith goggle to fight lens fog. The dial fit tightens on the fly, the Snapfit ear pads unclip when the weather warms and are ready for an add-on audio chip, and it stays beanie compatible for cold mornings.
The Cache suits an all-mountain skier or snowboarder after a rugged, full-featured helmet on a sensible budget. Sizing runs S through XL, most colorways carry Mips with select colorways offered without it, and there is a Round Contour Fit for rounder heads alongside the standard shape.
A helmet only protects when it fits, so come in and we will size you, set the dial snug and level, and match it to your Smith goggle so the AirEvac venting lines up. Buying online? Measure your head just above the ears and we will confirm the size before it ships.
