The Ultrafear is Capita's dedicated park twin — a true twin built around the Resort V1 profile, which runs camber through the body and transitions to flat with a touch of reverse at the tips. That combination is the whole point: you get real pop and snap off lips and ollie points, without the edge-catching anxiety that a fully cambered board brings when you're sliding into a kinked rail or setting up for a press. The P2 Superlight core keeps swing weight down, which matters when you're spinning and stomping landings, and the Hybrid HolySheet biaxial glass with tip-to-tail Carbon Boosters adds enough stiffness and snap that the board doesn't go noodle on you under impact. Cork edge dampening absorbs the vibration from rough in-runs and chattery landings better than you'd expect at this price. Flex lands around 5 to 5.5 out of 10 — firm enough to hold an edge and generate pop, soft enough to butter and press without forcing it. The Superdrive ADV sintruded base is durable for rail contact and slides well without the maintenance demands of a full sintered base.

This is the board for a rider who spends most of their day in the park — rails, boxes, jumps, and the creative lines between features. It works fine for resort laps when you're getting to the park or messing around switch in the trees, but it is not built for carving groomers hard or holding together on firm, icy steeps. If that's a meaningful part of your riding, the Ultrafear will frustrate you; look at Capita's Navigator or Mega Merc instead, which are designed with more directional intent and freeride performance. The Ultrafear also comes in a Wide version aimed at bigger feet — Capita lists it at US 10 and up (EU 43+), and as a rule of thumb anyone around a US 11 boot should size into the Wide to avoid toe and heel drag in presses.
