Jones Mercury FASE Snowboard Binding 2026/2027

The Jones Mercury FASE is a unisex, mid-stiff all-mountain snowboard binding built around Jones's FASE fast-entry system. Read the name carefully: Jones sells a conventional two-strap Men's Mercury at an identical $369.95, and it is a different binding. Jones's numbers here: flex 4/5, labeled "Mid-stiff & lively"; terrain scores All-Mountain 10/10, Freeride 10/10, Freestyle 8/10. A pair weighs 1.8 kg in size M. The two-strap model weighs 1.65 kg, and those 150 grams are where the entry hardware lives.

Fast entry here does not mean step-in. Your boot still sits under two straps and you still work a ratchet. What disappears is the sitting down. Three parts do it. The AutoBack closes behind the boot as you step in, opens as you lift the boot out, and folds flat to skate or ride a chair. The FastStrap leaves the ankle ladder permanently in its buckle, so tightening is one hand, one pull. The Locked-In Toe Strap is set-and-forget: the LSR 2.1 auto-lock buckle and a tri-toothed ladder hold it in place.

The Fusion XR baseplate is a glass-nylon composite, asymmetric and low-profile, on a Fusion Pad that layers TPU and EVA three deep. The AsymFlex highback is mid-stiff, with an extended upper wing, softer on its inside edge while the Asym Spine drives more power to the outside. A DualFlex ankle strap runs a stiff TPU core between softer TPU edges; the ImpactCush footbed slides with the system on a 3° cant. Alloy buckles, an Adaptive Fit toe strap, tool-free strap and lean adjustment.

Mounting: the included disk drops onto 4x4 and 2x4 inserts and onto Burton's EST/Channel. The Hanger and the Post carry a lifetime warranty; the rest of the binding carries one year.

Sizing — your boot picks the size

That table is men's US numbering. Women's boots use their own scale, so go by the mondopoint stamped inside the boot. Six colorways: S, M and L in all but Borealis Black/Pink, which we carry in S and M.
