A full 5-finger ski glove built around premium goatskin leather on both the upper and palm. The shell is naturally durable and breaks in quickly — noticeably softer than synthetic alternatives after a few days on snow. PrimaLoft Gold insulation sits inside, which keeps hands warm on cold groomer mornings without making the glove so bulky that pole grip suffers. Water resistance comes from multi-layered water-resistant laminates (not a named waterproof membrane), so the Patrol 3D handles light precip and damp conditions well but is not rated for prolonged wet exposure. The neoprene gauntlet cuff extends past the wrist, closing the gap between sleeve and glove — a practical detail skiers who have gotten a fistful of snow up the cuff will appreciate. Silicone grip pads on the palm give reliable pole control even when the leather is wet, and the glove clips directly into any LEKI alpine Trigger pole system.

This is a dedicated on-hill glove for cold, dry-to-damp days on the mountain. The liner is not removable, so it won't double as a backcountry touring glove where wet-liner management matters. Skip it if you need a full waterproof membrane for rainy spring skiing or multi-day wet conditions — a glove with GORE-TEX or a comparable sealed membrane will serve you better there. A good fit for resort skiers who want genuine leather warmth and grip without the stiffness of a work-glove-style ski mitt.
