The Asym Twin shape pairs a tighter sidecut radius on the heelside with a longer one on the toeside, which matches how you actually ride: your heel turn and your toe turn aren't the same motion, and the Optisym is cut to account for that. Underneath, the PowerCore II poplar core with beech stringers stays light and snappy, and Nitro's Whiplash Core Profile — thinner between the inserts, with more meat outside your feet — loads the ollie properly and holds a consistent press flex that doesn't go dead.
