Its job is the middle of the mountain: enough drive to hold an edge on a firm groomer, enough cushioning to keep long resort days from hammering your feet.

The support comes from a 3D OptiFrame Locked Down ankle strap, which Nitro builds with 3D contours for response and control, paired with an Übergrip Pro Integral Toe Strap that cups the toe box for a locked-in fit. Underfoot, Air Dampening handles the chatter and a 3-degree canted footbed tilts your feet toward a natural, knees-in stance so you are not fighting your own alignment turn after turn. Buckling in is quick thanks to the Speedwheel 3.0 ratchets, and the cable-reinforced connector straps are Nitro's answer to the stretch and wear that plague cheaper straps.
