Nitro Team BOA 2027

The Nitro Team BOA is a medium-stiff, all-mountain men's snowboard boot built around a Dual High Power H5 BOA fit system: two zonal reels that tighten the forefoot and the cuff separately, so you set the fit in seconds and reset it on the chairlift without stopping. It is Nitro's do-it-all men's boot, aimed at intermediate-to-advanced riders who spend the day everywhere on the mountain and want a boot that stays put and stays comfortable from first chair to last.

Fit starts with a heat-moldable Cloud 9 liner and a pre-molded Thermacell that works out of the box and bakes to your foot in the shop. A reinforced heel, Nitro's ILS internal lacing and an Armored Spine hold the heel down, while a Vibram Ecostep outsole (made from at least 30% recycled rubber), an EVA midsole, Air Dampening and a Therminator Shield handle grip, cushioning and warmth. For 26/27 Nitro reworked the toe with Endure Gravity Foam and an Optimized Flex Toe.

Nitro rates the Team 8 out of 10 for response and 9 out of 10 for comfort, but it does not print a single flex number; medium-stiff is the fair description, with enough support to drive a board and none of the race-stiff wall an expert plank throws up.
