About the Product
The POC Artic SL MIPS is POC’s slalom race helmet. Be clear on what it is not: this is not a FIS-homologated speed helmet. It’s built to EN 1077 Class B, with the Maxilla Breakaway chin guard included in the box — the setup for clipping slalom gates.
The shell is a hard ABS outer over an EPP liner, with rear VPD inserts for repeat gate impacts and Mips Integra inside. Racers who need FIS for GS or the speed events should look at the Skull Dura X. See our review below for the build and who this slalom lid is really for.
