About the Product
The POC Auric Cut BC MIPS is a freeride hardshell built for the backcountry. The name says it: Auric is the hardshell line, Cut is the low skate shape, BC is backcountry. An ABS hardshell covers an EPP liner — a multi-impact foam that survives repeated hits, not just one crash. Mips manages rotational impact. A RECCO reflector helps organized rescue locate you. It’s certified EN 1077 Class B and ASTM F2040. It’s heavier than a resort lid by design: 620g in M/L. RECCO is not avalanche gear. See our review below for the build and the rescue-layer caveats.
