About the Product
The POC Maxilla Breakaway System is the detachable chin bar for POC’s race helmets. It turns a slalom lid into a full chin-guard setup for banging gates. True to the name, it’s a breakaway design: set the release force, lock it solid, or leave it free-moving.
Fitment is specific. It’s made for the Skull Dura line (including the junior), Skull Orbic Spin, Super Skull, and Artic SL. Note the Artic SL already includes one. See our review below for the compatibility details and when you actually need it.
