About the Product

The Twinpig is Ride's short-and-wide twin built around the same volume-shift logic as the Warpig — you size it down 3 to 6 centimeters from your normal twin and gain a board that rides longer underfoot than the number on the base suggests. The profile is standard camber end to end, centered, zero setback: that means consistent edge-to-edge snap and genuine pop off the tail, with none of the assisted float you get from a hybrid rocker setup. Flex sits at a 3 out of 10, medium-soft and press-friendly, so nose and tail presses come without a fight and butter lines are accessible without muscling the board. The asymmetrical quadratic sidecut — Ride's blend of three different radii along each edge — narrows the gap between heelside and toeside response, which you'll notice most when riding switch. Slimewalls construction swaps traditional ABS sidewalls for damping urethane and transfers energy cleanly into the edge; the hybrid glass layup stiffens the deck longitudinally while keeping the tips lively; urethane Impact Plates under each binding zone soak up hard landings without killing the board's playfulness. The sintered base is fast and holds wax well, and the Cleave Edge packs roughly 50% more steel where edges take the most punishment, for stronger edge hold and durability. This is a board built to range across the whole mountain — park laps, groomer butter sessions, side hits, and a few inches of fresh — without being a dedicated specialist at any one of those things.

The Twinpig is built for intermediate-to-advanced riders who want one quiver board and spend their days moving across the resort without a fixed agenda — throwing a 180 off a side hit, pressing a box, bombing a groomer, ending the afternoon in the trees. If you are a dedicated park rider who laps the pipe and hits large kickers as your primary activity, the medium-soft flex will feel limiting at speed and under the load of serious booters; step up to something stiffer or look at Ride's park-specific lineup. It's also not a powder board — there's no setback or taper here, so if deep-snow float is what you're after, the Warpig is the directional sibling for that. And the sizing-down convention is not for riders still working on edge control: a cambered twin ridden shorter than your normal length rewards confidence and precision, not hesitation, so if you're coming from a longer rockered setup, come talk to us before pulling the trigger.
